Work to design and engineer cabinetry and millwork for many commercial and retail businesses around the country. Job DescriptionCandidate will need to be very comfortable with understanding and visualizing commercial casework drawings, working professionally with customers directly and also have the ability move and direct employees on the shop floor, with the knowledge of operating and producing material parts. Responsibilities• Project estimation• Communicate directly with contractors, architects, vendors and subcontractors in a professional manner• Analyze job requirements and establish production schedule and deadlines• Attend client meetings as needed• Take accurate field measurements• Request and submit samples for approval• Formulate RFIs and negotiate change orders • Purchase specialty materials
Qualifications• 2+ years experience in architectural millwork• 2+ years experience in commercial cabinetry millwork• Ability to manage multiple projects at a time• Thorough knowledge and understand of shop drawing• AutoCAD is a plus.• Cabinet Vision Software Experience highly recommended.
Compensation• Up to $70,000 depending on qualifications• Medical benefits after 90 days
